Tun Ismail was born on September 16, 1918 in Port Kelang, Selangor. He obtained the Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge in 1941 and graduated from Middle Temple, Inns of Court London as a Barrister-at-Law in 1943.

RAJA TUN MOHAR BIN RAJA BADIOZAMAN (1923 - 2003)
Raja Tun Mohar was born in 1923 and received his early education at the Clifford School, Kuala Kangsar. He studied at the Raffles College, Singapore and obtained his diploma in 1946, resuming studies after World War II. He graduated from the University of Cambridge in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Economics, and obtained the post-graduate Diploma in Agricultural Economics in 1953 from Oxford University.

Raja Tun Mohar was on the board of several companies and was active in the corporate sector. He passed away peacefully on June 8, 2003.

ROYAL PROFESSOR UNGKU ABDUL AZIZ
Royal Professor Ungku Abdul Aziz was born in London on January 28, 1922. He completed his secondary education at the English College, Johore Bahru and obtained a diploma from Raffles College, Singapore in 1947. In 1951, he obtained the Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (graduating with Class I Honours) from the University of Malaya, Singapore, and in 1964 the Doctor of Economics (Hakase) from Waseda University, Tokyo.

Tan Sri Dato' Abdul Jamil Rais was born on January 14, 1912 at Kuala Kangsar. He attended the Clifford School in the same town. He spent two years, 1952-1953 in the United Kingdom, where he studied Agricultural Economics at Oxford.
